Special Diets
Meals for Change is able to accommodate most special dietary needs:

  • Wheat free: Most of our main course and side dish selections are wheat free, with the exception of baked goods, quiches, galettes, phyllo specialties, etc. In general, all sauces are thickened by the process of reduction, not through the addition of wheat or rice flour or corn starch.   • Dairy free: Most main course and side dish selections are dairy free unless specifically noted. We have a large selection of dairy free desserts – made without eggs or milk.

  • Low fat: Most of our sautéing is done with extra virgin olive oil. We add butter to some specialties, e.g. Jambalaya, but we can accommodate any special needs you might have. We can keep any cooking fats to an absolute minimum, upon request.

  • Many vegan and vegetarian specialties are available – click on word to see list.

  • Low sodium: We season our dishes with fresh herbs and natural flavors and use very little salt. If you have special requirements in that area, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to accommodate your needs.
